Mini-Mapper 5: Motor board schematic (1)
Here we do the schematic capture for the driver side of the motor prototype board, which involves setting up connections between the driver chip and the motor outputs, control inputs and power, and adding passive components for power bypassing, current sensing and current regulation. We also add a current sensing circuit of our own to allow us to monitor motor coil current using an ADC on the microcontroller.
